Welcome to the official website of the National Pan-Hellenic Council at Florida State University. Here, you will find information about the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the 7 chapters on the Yard. The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is a student-led umbrella organization established in 1992 at Florida State University that is comprised of seven historically black Greek-lettered fraternities and sororities. The National Pan-Hellenic Council was established to support and unify fraternities and sororities and empower our organizations to enact change within the Florida State and Tallahassee communities.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the NPHC is to promote an atmosphere of mutual respect; support a high academic and scholastic standard, and assist member organizations in upholding their fundamental purposes and ideals.
To act as a governing body for the member and affiliate organizations
To enhance the positive relationships among the members of the National PanHellenic Council.
